Welcome to the online portal for PRSA Puget Sound's awards program!

The very first submissions into the PRSA Puget Sound Chapter's Awards Program were accepted in the Fall of 1977, with a celebration event following in the early Winter of 1978. This Totem Awards Program marks the 41st year of recognizing excellence among Puget Sound public relations practitioners.

The Totem Award is a symbol of creativity and accomplishment for the PR industry in the Puget Sound area. The program is designed to recognize projects, programs, and practitioners that demonstrate excellence in PR and rise above the competition.

PRSA Puget Sound honors the best public relations programs, tactics and practitioners in the region at its annual Totem Awards Celebration. The Totem Award competition is open to all public relations and marketing professionals in the region, PRSA members and nonmembers alike.

Submissions for the annual Totem Awards Program will be accepted until Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020. Entries are split into two main categories -- PR Components and PR Programs. Please be sure to thoroughly examine the Call for Entries document which details the submission guidelines.

Each entry is judged on its own merits, with Totem Awards and Certificates of Excellence being awarded in more than 20 categories and multiple sub-categories. Additionally, there’s the Best of Show, President's Choice, Young Professional, and PR Professtional of the Year awards announced at the celebration to be held in Spring 2020.

We are also accepting nominations for the PR Professional of the Year Award which will be presented at the Totem Awards Celebration. Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 6, 2019.
